Creative Space was established in 2024 to offer a Gallery as well as Workshop and Studio Space.
A space with community at its heart where artists can both exhibit and create, right in the heart of the vibrant town of Whitstable.
We are located just off Harbour Street at 1 Red Lion Lane (between Mosaic and The Lazy Lobster) in the very centre of Whitstable.
The Gallery is the ground floor of a beautiful Victorian house which has its own historic story, starting life as a house and jeweller's, becoming an office, and now an exciting new art centre.
Accommodation on the first floor available as an extra space to those hiring the gallery who may wish to stay in Whitstable.

We hire on a weekly basis Tuesday to Monday

No commission is charged on sales of art exhibited.

Exhibitors curate and steward their own exhibitions.

Community-centred: we offer some weeks low cost or even free to local charities and schools.
